Wow!!! This Green Chili Cheese Burger was phenomenal!! Fresh, HOT and tasted like it was straight off my granddaddy’s grill. No iceberg lettuce in sight. Thank goodness! Lots of fresh veggies. Fast, friendly service. The ladies working here were so sweet. We didn’t have to ask for anything. They magically appeared with everything we wanted before we even knew we needed it! You don’t get service like this much anymore. The onion rings were perfectly crisp on the outside with sweet, tender onions inside. Perfection! So many tasty beverage choices!! I had a hard time choosing. Went with the Blood Orange Eastsider. Great on a warm Spring day. Beautiful patio to enjoy a pretty Texas afternoon and cold beverage. If you haven’t been…you’re missing on a one of a kind Texas experience.

Know for burgers although they have a selection of a few sandwiches. You sit at picnic tables inside or out. Unique place in a small town. The portions are large.

They were super friendly from the moment I stepped in. I ordered the green chili burger, onion rings, and an xxx root beer. It was about $24 before tip. It isn't really a budget place, but everything was really good and high quality, so it felt appropriate to me. The burger was cooked nicely, seasoned well, soft potato bun (Martin's), and was almost too big for me to finish (I finished it though). The onion rings were really nicely cooked. Light and crunchy without being greasy. They were some of the best onion rings I've had in a long time. I came in right at 11 am after they were closed for two days, so I'm sure it was clean oil and fresh made batter, so your experience might not be as mind-blowing as mine. The bottled drink selection was on another level. There must have been close to 10 different Root Beer options, so I went with one I had never tried, and it didn't disappoint. My only complaint, because there has to be something, is that the floor is really bouncy. It's an old building with an old pier and beam foundation (I assume), so when you're sitting at a table and someone is walking by, it feels like you're eating on a boat. The rest of the restaurant feels nicely updated while keeping most of the charm. It feels very clean, and I think the owners take pride in their restaurant (as they should) I would not have expected to have one of the best burgers I've had in a long time in Andice, but this place is worth going out of your way for.

This was my first visit to this little town of 25. What a great little drive to enjoy fellowship and good food with a great group of peeps! The most surprising was the beer on tap choices. IPA blonde for the win!

Been wanting to try this for awhile. Heard both good and so-so reports from people. Stopped by on a day out with the family. Lunch time was fairly busy. Not a large inside seating area but there is a outdoor shaded patio. We managed to dodge the rain storms. Had the simple bacon cheeseburger with a slice of onion and fries. Good service and didnt have to wait too long. Fries were fine, basic crinkle cut. Burger had outstanding flavor and wonderful char. Great bun as well, burger was just a touch dry. Pretty good lunch, not oh my gosh outstanding but worth a stop.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Really nice, friendly people. The best burger and onion rings I have had in a very long time. A very comfortable atmosphere with some neat old time decorations (think old oil cans). I highly recommend the Hatch chili cheese burger. It has some spicy heat and great overall flavor. The onion rings are crispy, lightly battered and delicious. They have a great selection of sodas in coolers when you walk in. They use the counter ordering method and brought my food to me at one of the picnic style tables inside. There was ketchup and hot sauce on the table, but you really don't need either. Parking area is minimal, but sufficient. Just take a nice drive out there and enjoy. They also have some grassy areas for the dogs with picnic tables.
